The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) at SmartStop is a key point of contact at our self-storage facilities, known for being helpful, knowledgeable, and ready to guide our customers. They are dedicated to providing a refreshing and human-centered experience that simplifies our customers' lives, no matter where they are on their journey.

As an ASM, you will contribute to the success of the property by managing an organized office, engaging positively with customers, diligently following up on leads, nurturing existing business relationships with clients and vendors, and maintaining clear communication with the management team.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $16.00/hour + Bonus

Assistant Store Manager Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Rental of storage units - includes closing sales effectively to meet targeted occupancy levels
  • Preparing rental agreements
  • Handling financial transactions and banking activities
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of all products and services
  • Maintaining general curb appeal
  • Must be a proactive team player
  • Provide world-class customer service
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
  • The position requires a background check
  • Other duties as assigned by the Company
